Practical personality revamp tips for aviation professionals.


1. Candidate enrols at ICARUS after a successful completion of written test and interview.

2. Candidate is briefed about program commencement date and uniform items distributed.

3. First day begins with detailed grooming session done separately for ladies and gents. It is in this first session that the candidate experiences the first phase of transformation in personality being in uniform.

4.Each day starts with a grooming check, followed by a previous day revision and a brief description of the days syllabus.

5. Over the next few weeks (and months) a monthly assessment is done on the candidate by his / her assigned mentor on various aspects of personality development, mannerisms, walk style, dress sense, speech / accent action plan, communicative English / Hindi and other initiatives taken by the candidate for job interview process ( GD topics, BMI and body language). In addition to this, external certifications of CIAL ( Cochin Int airport) vist, Fire station visit and First Aid training are provided during the program at ICARUS.

6. Candidates with weak communication skill in English / Hindi or both are provided with addition language coaching classes at no extra cost. Attendance and improvement of the subject matter are discussed on a monthly basis.

7. During the middle of the course ( example 3rd month – if the candidate is doing a 6 month program) a detailed mentor evaluation / discussion will be done to provide the candidate with real time feedback and suggestions.

8. At this stage, the candidate has a deep understanding of the language skill (English / Hindi / or both) and discipline (attendance, grooming and professional etiquettes) exercised in the aviation industry. Candidates who have not improvised their language delivery skills will be re evaluated by their respective faculty in charge of language/speech development, provided with immediate action plan and a daily evaluation will be conducted.

9. Aviation industry entry level trainings are held in English language and at that stage candidates should have overcome any issues with the primary language of training / communication. The airline training period of 6 to 7 weeks is to provide the new cabin crew recruits with skill sets required to excel in their role as a brand ambassador. Candidates who complete ICARUS diploma program will definitely be ahead of other rookie candidates as they have knowledge of airline grooming standards, aviation (history/ terminology/job responsibilities in safety, first aid and inflight services) and general customer service / care attributes.

10. The success of a cabin crew diploma program starts with the initiative to learn / improvise from the candidate side. The course materials and industry related discussions can only be useful if the candidate possess a consistent drive to improve his / her quality in communication, grooming, soft skills, mental health and cheerful personality.
